I spent many years working for large advertising agencies, including Foote, Cone & Belding and Publicis Groupe. Eventually, I worked my way up to the giddy heights of Vice President, Creative Director. Woot!
I’ve been freelancing for about ten years, and really enjoying the opportunity to work with many different clients. I also tend to have several side projects cooking at any given time.
Here are a few highlights from recent years:
TOTAL UTILITY.
For several years, I’ve done a lot of work for PG&E, including developing and launching their animated safety campaign that ran in all markets starting in 2016.
GOING BOLDLY.
I recently finished writing a script for Sir Patrick Stewart, who played Captain Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation. It was then shot in the UK, and edited into a multi-screen video for Nuance, the company that provides the technology for Siri and other voice applications.

RABBLE ROUSING.
From 2010 through 2014, I co-managed a political viral project, including a Facebook network. In late 2013, our Facebook page passed 20 million post views per month. This work is highly controversial, so I don’t have it posted here. Please ping me to discuss.
KEEPIN’ IT REAL.
In 2009, I co-wrote a speech for-five-time Grammy winner John Legend, which he delivered at the Kaplan University graduation ceremonies on January 31, 2009.
ARBITING THE COOLNESS.
In 2007, I co-wrote the cover article for the July/August issue of Create Magazine. The article, entitled, “Concept to Reality,” covered the ten coolest creative projects done in America that year.
LOOKING AHEAD.
In late 2006, I co-wrote an article for Family Therapy Magazine, called “Not Your Parents’ Retirement: Preparing for the Next Boomer Revolution,” in which I discussed this landmark change. The information I gained from writing this has proved quite valuable in crafting marketing programs aimed at Boomers.
AND PERHAPS TALKING TO YOU.
